Hooks are assembled by us at Tidaltails and are triple crimped by hand and thermally heated. A leader you can trust. The 45 lb AFW Soft Surflon can be used for Striped Bass when there is a mix with Bluefish. Or use heavy (60/80) Monofilament set-up's.

Note: All of Tidaltails wire leader hooks are triple crimped for the rigors of Bluefishing. We do however suggest that after you land a Bluefish you inspect the leader part of the hook. If it is all chewed up and twisted, change to another hook. Or the next fish you bring to the boat may get away due to the sleeve letting go or the leader breaking. It only takes a few seconds to tie on another hook. Better safe than sorry. also see our Sleeve-less leaders.
