John Skinner is a long time Surf Fishing Columnist, feature writer and former Editor-in-Chief of Noreast Saltwater Magazine. He was also a contributing writer for New England Stripers, A Fishing Anthology, published by On the Water Magazine. Skinner is a frequent speaker at outdoor shows and fishing club seminars, and has taught surf fishing courses for the Riverhead School District’s Adult Education Program. Both entertaining and informative, A Season on the Edge is woven together from a collection of stories culled from the author’s detailed logs, and told in the order of a seasonal progression.
